Celebrating my mother in laws birthday, the last time it fell on Easter she turned 15.

Happy Good Friday

We are at the beach house for the weekend. This procession is representative of many others we have seen all over today. They carry the cross through the streets or in this case onto the beach in rememberance of this sacred day. It's a cool way to remember the saviors suffering.

Jorge was accepted to Babson!!! This is us out celebrating tonight. We are so happy and feel so blessed to see the fruits of all his hard work.

Palm Sunday

Stella (acting the part of Jesus) in her triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Jorge made an excellent donkey; the green thing on your far right is me waving a "palm branch", we all shouted Hosanna and Blessed. Here's to commemorating the last week of Jesus life.

These gorgeous plumerias are on a tree by my house. I love these flowers because they smell SO good & remind me of Hawaii. It's almost been a year since Jorge, Stella & my parents went... I think it's time to go again ;)

New traditions

We started a new tradition tonight, Friday Family Movie Night. We watched Frozen and ate pizza. We laid the futon down flat and brought down all our pillows and were super comfy. It was so FUN!

Best bib ever and crazy stickers

Stella gets a sticker if she cooperates during the brushing of her teeth. We just bought a new pack of animal stickers and she loves them. Today she wanted the biggest sticker in the pack, and wore this cheetah around on her shirt all day. It makes me laugh just thinking about it :)

Colegio Americano or American School

Today Stella and I went to Jorge's K-12 private school. It was fun to think about him as a little kid running around that place. The grounds are really beautiful and the campus is enormous. I have to take continuing education in order to renew my license every year and this school has an affiliation w/ a US based college so I was there today to inquire about it.

Stella's new thing is to take her blankets and make a little "bed" and lay down and pretend to sleep. It's the cutest thing!

General conference weekend

Jorge and I went running together this morning and it felt SO good!!! Running with w/ him pushes me to work harder & go farther. 

My spiritual cup is full, I LOVE hearing the messages from our leaders and loved the talk by Elder Holland. As Christians we will be called on to defend our faith and we need to be ready. I've already had to do that in graduate school and I'm sure I'll have other opportunities. I feel so empowered.

Babson Interview

Look at this handsome man, today he had an interview with Babson University and if they don't accept him their crazy. I'm so excited for him! Will find out in the next couple weeks if he was accepted... We'll keep you posted.

Jorge is working so hard on his applications for grad school, Stella and I just had to come in and give him a little break. He's completed 2 and has only 3 to go!!
