My Sweet Husband

We were out late running errands this afternoon and by the time we got home Stella was tired and hungry. Jorge volunteered to make dinner so I showed him the recipe for White Bean Chili. Jorge started making dinner while I fed and changed Stella. 30 minutes later we met back up at the dinner table and I stared into my bowl of chili and noticed that there were cucumbers floating around. Being the inventive guy that he is he had cut up a cucumber in place of squash because he couldn't find any so therefore didn't think we had any squash. It still tasted delish and we both had a good laugh.

It's a slippery slope

I put Stella by the window to look outside, she loves to check out the trees and all the leaves are falling now so  it 's even more entertaining. I looked back at her after a few minutes and this is how she was positioned, I guess its time for the safety belt ;)

You know you're a mom when...

I love date night!  Sometimes I am so tired that I don't think I want to go but then we get out of the house and I always have fun. Tonight we went to see the Secret Life of Timothy Green. It was so cute!!!! On the way out of the theater I went to put my hand in my pocket, because it's freezing now in Boise, and discovered a lovely used breast pad, :). Oh the joys of motherhood....

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dads 69th birthday! This pic is from our family reunion this summer. This week we were talking on the phone while he was out of town with my mom. He told me that they had a small disagreement over her driving and then told me what he said to her after their warm discussion. His comment makes the top 5 sweetest things that I have ever heard him say, "I told your mom that if I had the chance to do it all over again (marry her) I would". I hope after 44 years of marriage that Jorge can say that about our marriage.  

Halloween

This photo is a classic so I had to post it, unfortunately it's not from last night. Jorge had to work so Stella and I went to a trunk or treat activity at our old ward and then handed out candy at the house. It was so fun to have trick or treaters. It was the first time in years, I love having a house!
