Tis the Season

Today we went to the Boise Christmas Parade, it was freezing and raining but we had a blast.

Thanksgiving and more...

Jorge's friends Mauricio & Andres came to town for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. They are such nice guys and it was great to see them. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year, so I made my first real turkey which was an interesting challenge. I pretty much buy all our meat boneless and skinless so I kind of felt like Andrew Zimmerman, from the Travel Channel, who eats and cooks disgusting stuff all over the world. The final product was well worth it and it's tradition so why not. No in the picture below Stella is not wearing ear muffs that's her headband leaning a little to the side ;)

The Boise Temple is Open

Today we attended the re-dedication of the Boise Temple. It was great to be a part of the open house, last nights cultural celebration and today's services. The messages that were given were so inspiring and we are so glad that our temple will be open again. We have driven the four hour round trip to Twin Falls for over a year and are so glad that we will only have to drive 10 minutes to attend the temple. Yeah!!!!

 We got a new camera so I decided to check it out with Stella as my muse. To the left is a kind of pin hole camera feature.









I love that this shot on the right looks like she is posing.

 This is scary Stella reaching out to grab you! (or the camera)

This one makes everything look mini. I had to include this because Stella is about to take that foot up to her mouth. She is a huge toe sucker and it makes me laugh every time I see her doing it. When I would put the camera up to take a picture she would take her foot down from her mouth... :)

I can't say enough good things about swings, Stella loves it (I love it too)!
