We started our journey to our new home, for the summer, in New York. We left West Jordan, UT after church and arrived in Rawlins, Wyoming around 9:45. We had hoped to make it to Laramie but it started to snow and with all the huge semi trucks blazing by it was kind of a crazy snow storm. If you follow my blog you will get to experience over the next week our trip with us. We hope you enjoy!
As you leave Utah headed for Wyoming the scenery is incredible. There were beautiful green meadows, lots of trains, and really cool rock formations.
Jorge and I have been reading tons of church history in preparation for our trip because we have pLanned to stop at a lot of the sites. We arrived at our first church history site by accident, at a rest stop, in Lyman, Wyoming. We are so grateful for our pioneer ancestors who truly sacrificed so much. This is rough country we are going through and it I think about them being out in the cold and heat and rain and snow and it makes me never want to complain again :)
