The Quilt
Stella is laying on the quilt that our dear friend Lori Cranney made for her.
The name of the print of the fabric is Stella which interestingly Lori chose before Stella was born or named. :)

The Talker
Stella woke up this morning talking and went to sleep tonight talking. I loved laying in bed and listening to her babble. It made me smile!
Hanging w/ her cousins this weekend. |
Her 1st time in a highchair at grandmas you can see she has tons of padding to keep her upright. |
she is sitting in her bumbo chair, like a big girl. |

Gratitude
Today I'm thankful for the kindness of Jorge's boss She sent home tons of apples from her tree. I am dehydrating them and will have tons of apple crisps in the morning. Yum, Yum!

Stella and the little bunny
We were on our way home from activity day, she fell asleep in the car holding her bunny like a little doll. Usually she doesn't hang onto things very long so I had to grab a picture.

Yoga Moms
Today I got together with my friends from my Prenatal Yoga class. Some of them I hadn't seen since our days of being pregnant. It was great to see everybody. This will probably be our last day at the park because the temp was hovered in the 50's today and it's only getting colder each day :(
My plea-- and I wish I were more eloquent in voicing it-- is a plea to save the children. Too many of them walk in pain and fear... Children need sunlight. They need happiness. They need love and nurture. They need kindness and refreshment and affection. Every home regardless of the cost of the house, can provide an environment of love which will be an environment of salvation. (Gordon B. Hinckley)

Fall is here
Stella had a weight check today and she gained four ounces. I was thrilled! Sadly the doctor wasn't as excited as I was, we are going to keep our feeding regimen going and go back in a month. He suggested I could try acupuncture to increase my milk supply. Has anyone tried that before?
We salute you, sisters, for the joy that is yours as you rejoice in a baby's first smile and as you listen with eager ear to a child's first day at school which bespeaks a special selflessness. Women, more quickly than others, will understand the possible dangers when the word self is militantly placed before other words like fulfillment. You rock a sobbing child without wondering if today's world is passing you by, because you know you hold tomorrow tightly in your arms (Neal A. Maxwell)

Boise Temple Open House
My sister Michelle came to Boise this weekend to visit and to attend the Boise temple open house. The temple is so beautiful, tons of hardwood, Syringa flowers (Idaho state flower) and its just really updated. We have been traveling to Twin Falls to attend the temple which is 2 hours from here every month for over a year. It's going to be so nice to have a temple again nearby.

The Little Things
It's the little things that make such a difference. Like my 7 year old niece lining up all the chairs in our living room today so that we could be an audience for her to show us the dance she has been learning and Stella trying to stuff her entire foot in her mouth. It's a great conversation and my husband doing the dishes. These are the simple things that make life sweet.
