Ugli fruit

Today at the market there was fruit from Jamaica that I had never seen before. It's called Ugli and you can see why. Its kind of a cross between an orange and a grapefruit, its not to sour or to sweet and its super juicy.

Baby Sign

Stella and I just started attending a baby sign language class. She already knew the sign for finished which she when she is done eating. Hopefully with this class her vocabulary will grow.

Sickness...

Between Jorge's fever & my hives these last few days have been memorable. The good news is that Stella is healthy!

Really Boise?

This week marked the first day of spring and while I have been enjoying pictures of friends and family starting their gardens and showing flowers blooming we aren't quite there yet. This was what I woke up to Friday morning.

Family History

This past weekend I went to visit my grandma for her 89th birthday. She is super sharp, drives a car w/ a spoiler & stylish. While I was there we did some family history work. This photo is a pic of my great great grandparents.

This is Jorge on the way into the post office to mail in his residency paperwork. This is a big deal for us as we have been trying to have his status changed for years. The packet of info that is required takes a ton of time to sift through & fill out. Here's hoping that this time things come together for our good.

Warmer weather

The weather is warming up in Boise and its so wonderful to be outside again. I went on a walk today with my friend Cindy and I got to meet her new little girl, Rosie. We were walking along the trail by the river and stumbled upon a giraffe... If you look closely you'll see it.

It's funny to me to watch Stella around dogs. She gets so excited. She was around a cat for the first time last week & started to cry. It was kind of an unexpected reaction because so far she has loved dogs. She did eventually warm up a little to the cat. These pictures are from my nephews Great Dane Lancelot.

This weekend my dad & I visited my brother Grant & his family. It was tons of fun!

Stella's Sick

Stella has a cold. It's sad to see her having a hard time breathing when she is breast feeding & not having sleeping well. I think she woke up 6 times last night. ... As I was posting she started to cry and she sounded like a barking seal. We called the doctor and its likely she has croup. 😔 The picture is from today she's not much of a cuddled but she laid on my chest today ffor a long time.

Moving day

We helped some good friends move today. We will miss them!
