We have Internet!!!

All week we have been without Internet until late Friday night. I felt like a pioneer, living in a foreign country without any way to communicate with my family or friends. The picture below was taken Tuesday night outside a theater where we watched a jazz concert, it was a fun night.

Stop & smell the roses

Stella has learned how to sniff and that there are different smells. She loves a candle that my mother in law has on her coffee table, she works hard to get the lid off and then smells it and says ummmm. I was commenting to Jorge that I thought it was so cute and so advanced ;) that she smells things and then says ummm and he said she's doing it because that's what you do. I'm cracking up just thinking about it as I'm writing...

Decisions, decisions

Tomorrow we are going to decide on the house to rent. I took pictures of both, although one is at night, that's the house that I'm leaning toward. Jorge's leaning toward the other. Please comment on your favorite one...

The Guayaquil Ecuador temple

The temple here is so beautiful! I took this picture from super far away but I just loved how the temple sits sort of looking out over the city and I love how bright it is, a refuge in a dark world. We went the other night and the temple was packed,  there were people who had come from all over Ecuador. There were at least 8 huge travel busses. I'm super thankful that I have always lived relatively close to a temple. Some of these people sacrifice so much to come, it's inspiring.
