Fireflys

I left the house to go out on a walk tonight at dusk and stepped out the back door and saw lots of little blinking lights. There were fireflys everywhere and it was awesome. The first time that we saw them was in New Hampshire a few weeks ago and I almost died they're the coolest creatures. we were driving that night and we didn't stop to really see them. So I took the opportunity tonight to get up close and personal. I even caught one and brought it in to show Stella but she was already asleep.
This picture is kind of weird because it's hard to tell what light is what but there is one in the middle that is a more yellow light and that is the firefly.

FHE

My interpretation of Nephi strapped to the mast of the boat during the storm caused by the disobedience of his brothers. FHE really can be so fun!

Back on track w/ blogging

I've been the worst blogger this summer. We've been traveling so much and have had family visits which has been wonderful and kept us busy. This weekend we checked out two different beaches on Lake Ontario. Both had different things to offer and both had the water closed off to swimmers :(. We had a few storms at the end of the week last week which apparently caused the bacteria levels in the lake to be too high to swim in it. Boo. Anyways we had a great time exploring and hope to test the water later this week.

Boston- July 4th 🇺🇸

Im in love w/Boston. We had a great time both alone (we spent the day in Cape Cod together while Stella stayed w/ her grandparents) and w/ family. Why do some of the coolest places have to be the coldest places? Boston would be a great place to live for the summer ;)
Boston temple
My sister in law Rebeca having fun on the 4th. I don't have any pics of my family on the fourth because Stella not super excited about fireworks yet and so she decided to stay in the car and her dad joined her there.
The Boston firework show was amazing! It went forever and we had the best spot to view it from.
