Veggie Lasagna

Tonight Jorge made dinner and I loved every minute of it. He made a veggie lasagna from a recipe that he got out of Forks & Knives, a cookbook. It was delish!!!

Thera-play Conference

I went to Idaho Falls last weekend to attend a conference and visit family. I need 20 continuing education credits each year in order to maintain my license. This conference was a great opportunity to get credit and see my cousins, grandma, brother and their families.

Stella had to give a sample of blood today and she was so brave. I'll keep you posted on the outcome of the tests.

Stella and the VCR

Stella loves our media center. She likes to pull out all the movies, grab onto the wifi box and stick her fingers in the VCR. Unfortunately when she tries to pull them out they get stuck and she starts to cry. I decided that I should block the area somehow so that it wouldn't be such a temptation for her. So I put the piano bench in front of it. The photo below is what happened next... You probably can't see but she has her fingers stuck in the VCR. Silly girl!

Conference weekend

So grateful to be guided by a living prophet in these days of turmoil in the world.

Davis cup tennis

Jorge loves tennis so for his birthday I bought him tickets to the davis cup quarter finals. Today was the big day and it was so much fun. Team USA lost to team Serbia in the first match but we got to see the #1 tennis player in the world Novak Jokovick play, it was pretty intense :) thanks mom for watching Stella.

Stella is definitely into everything now. She sits with me if I'm reading to her otherwise she wants to explore... Her exploring usually means grabbing anything in her path and throwing it behind her as she moves on. It's actually pretty funny.

Spring is in the air...

I love this time of year! The first photo was taken at the Boise temple, they always have the most beautiful gardens and the second one is a happy little barefoot girl. I think she was meant to be born on a tropical beach. She pulls her socks off constantly thank goodness it's warm enough now to finally let her do it.
