Couscous

Tonight we had a Mediterranean style curry flavored couscous w/ dinner. I hadn't planned to give her any but she isn't digging her purees much anymore so desperate times call for desperate measures ;) . She really liked it.

Target excursion

I love that they have a little height scale at Target. Stella will be 9 months old on Wednesday and she looks like she is right on the mark. She is so stinking cute sometimes I can't handle it :)

Spring?

I really thought we were on a warming trend... I Guess not yet. Stella & I had some bonding time while we kept warm under blankets this afternoon.

Play date

Stella got together w/ a few friends today from our old ward. They are older than her but she still loved to hang w/ the big girls.

An intruder in our house...

Ok before you get too worried there really wasn't an intruder but Jorge got ready to go running outside, which he hasn't done since last fall because its been so cold & snowy & he kind of looked like one. When i commented on his sweet look & tried to take a picture he ran out of the room, then I went to the window & he ran towards our neighbors house & then he ran across the street. It was pretty funny he even looked like he was fleeing the scene of the crime ;)

Here are a few pics to show you how we celebrated our day. We switch off years planning the day and this was my year. That said Jorge never fails to surprise me & he had a few tricks up his sleeve. I couldn't ask for a better man, he is my everything. :)

She is getting better at feeding herself. She is eating a banana using a fresh food feeder. Those things are the best!

The Blue Sky

Today was gorgeous, the sky was so blue. We haven't seen a blue sky in Boise for SO long, maybe before Christmas. Today the temperature was in the 30s still cold but warmer than its been for awhile. Stella & I ventured out for a walk, it was so nice to be outside.

We hosted a play date at our house today. It was tons of fun! It's kind of crazy that Stella has so many friends that are girls, we don't discriminate against boys I just don't know many her age.
