Stella & her nose

This is a picture I took today while we were at the pool. (The kids are on vacation so I invited our housekeepers daughter to come swimming with us, she is so sweet w/ Stella). Anyways ever since Stella has discovered her nose has holes in them there has been a finger up one of her nostrils. I have talked to her a million times and I move her hand if I see it in her nose. Nothing has seemed to help...suggestions?

FHE w/ Juan & Jefferson

These two young men are getting ready to go on their missions. Juan in the green shirt is going to Chile and Jefferson in the red shirt is going to Peru. They are the only members of the church in their families and are awesome examples! Stella was so friendly with them tonight it was pretty cute.

Nursery crafts

Apparently there is some serious bracelet/necklace/headband making in Nursery. Stella loves it and I'm sure it good for her hand eye coordination. This is a pic of me picking her up today.

Relief Society Commemorative Walk

Today the woman in our ward walked from our church bldg to the temple. It took us about an hour and was an awesome experience. We sang together, laughed, and bonded. Happy 100 and something years birthday Relief Society!!!

The woman in the background with the white hair is 82 and wore a beautiful white dress and sandals and walked the whole way.

Cute girls wearing traditional clothes from Otavalo, which is about a 10 hour bus ride to the temple. Bless there hearts for making the trip!

Stell loved the deer. These are wild deer that come down out of the mountains to graze, although we were really at a high altitude so they must not have to come down that far ;) I think we were around 10,000ft high.

Jorge at the airport, he had to fly to the capital, Quito to take the exam. He's going to do so well, he's worked so hard to prepare.

Hotel Santa Barbara & orchid farm

This place was AWESOME. We stayed a couple nights there and it really has everything that you would want in a hotel.

This was a whole room just for kids.  Anytime we weren't sightseeing we she wanted to go and play in that room.

Visiting an orchid farm... We took a tour and saw some of the tiniest orchids you could even imagine. At this farm they have over 2500 different species of Orchids, are you kidding me? It was definetly worth the stop.

She really wanted to climb those steps around the monument.
