This past weekend was our world wide semi annual conference. I loved it! It's always a spiritual feast and a time for reflection and renewal. We tried some new things this time to keep Stella occupied because the conference totals 8 hrs over 2 days... A lot of time for a two year old to be sitting. We tried having a treat dish where anyone could grab a piece of chocolate if they heard a leader mention a few key words. For example the word Jesus was on the list. Stella was really excited but we found out quickly on that she is a bit to young to really pick out words that were being spoken in a sermon.
The next thing that I tried to do was provide an activity at the beginning of each of the four conference sessions. She loved that and it helped her to stay occupied so that Jorge and I could listen.

In between sessions we had a picnic. Stella had a chance to run free and get out all of her wiggles and Jorge and I loved the fresh air. This weekend the weather was lovely so it was wonderful being outside.
I feel inspired to be a better person and a better follower of Jesus Christ. He was always found doing good and I want to be just like Him.
